Day tour to a very special city in the green heart of The Netherlands, GOUDA.

Who has never heard of Gouda? The city well known for her lovely ‘stroop’ waffles, her beautiful market square, the famous stained-glass windows in the longest church of the Netherlands and of course the famous Gouda cheese. During the day tour, you are going to discover all these secrets of Gouda.

You are going to bake your own Gouda ‘stroop’ waffle. While the sweet aroma is around you, the proud bakers will tell you everything you need to know about Gouda’s sweet treat with a secret recipe.

During a guided tour you will wander through narrow picturesque streets, find the famous canals and stroll on over to one of the most beautiful market squares in Europe with its famous Town hall.

Lunch will be served at the famous waffle bakery and patisserie Van den Berg / Van Vliet.

You are going to discover the secrets of the St. Jan Church. With 123 meters, it is the longest church in the Netherlands. The church is also world renowned for its Gouda glass. These stained-glass windows are from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. And of course there will be a possibility to taste different kinds of cheese.
